In this episode we host Sirish Kumar Munipalli, Co-Founder and CTO of MooresLabAI, an AI company building agentic automation for chip design verification and debug. What we cover: Build vs buy for AI verification tooling: when it makes sense for a DV team to build its own agents, and when that turns into a second product you never wanted to maintain. Where AI actually earns its place today in functional verification and debug, versus where it’s still demo-ware.
Ronen Laviv started his career inside the chip SoC development at National Semiconductor, full lifecycle, the real stuff. Then spent 14 years at Cadence helping the world’s biggest design teams tackle frontend, backend, analog, emulation, and IP challenges. After that, he moved to AWS to help chip companies make the jump to the cloud.
Yaron Ilani is an EDA and customer success veteran with deep roots in chip design and verification. He started out at National Semiconductor, moved through PMC-Sierra, and spent time in a few startups along the way. For 15 years at Synopsys, he led applications engineering and customer success teams across simulation, static, and formal verification, working closely with some of the most complex design flows out there.
